Top 6 crucial Materials to choose in manufacturing Modern Hotel Furniture

①   Substrate

Plywood, made by gluing multiple sheets of wood together, is a durable wood substrate that can bear heavier loads.

It can hold screws firmly. Due to the use of multiple wood veneers in each panel, Plywood may contain variations in flatness and thickness. We carry both fire-rated and marine-grade Plywood.

If you want a strong substrate that has the appearance of solid wood, Plywood is a perfect choice.

The substrate’s appearance is typically irrelevant as it’s hidden beneath the veneer.MDF is ideal as a substrate in applications where the edges are molded. Also an engineered wood product, MDF is produced by breaking down hardwood and softwood into wood fibers and combining them with wax and resin.

Generally denser than Plywood, MDF features an even density and is smooth on both sides. The material’s poor moisture resistance makes its application mostly limited to interior spaces in the form of furniture and fit-outs. However, treated MDF can reach a better fire rating.

②    Veneer

Choosing between laminates and wood veneer comes down to its durability and consistency, natural beauty, and variations

laminate is a printed surface that looks like natural wood, but is usually made of plastic and bonded to a composite base.

The wooden veneer looks like wood. This leads to the furniture’s aesthetic look & makes it appear high-end.

But laminates are available in various colors, shades, designs, patterns & textures. They can be broadly classified into texture, high gloss, soft and matte. Laminates are also resistant to water and scratches and are exceptionally easy to clean.

③   Metal

The benefit of a stainless-steel finish is that it has a beautiful shine without being overly reflective if we want to add a modern feel to the whole hospitality space without it becoming too overpowering. Because of this, stainless steel can be matched with various finishes, from woods to velvet or faux leather.

④   Upholstered

The role of upholstery in hospitality space can significantly influence the comfort and homelike of furniture. Whether you choose a natural fabric to provide warmth and comfort or use leather for high-traffic areas that require frequent cleaning, the choice of the upholstery option is an essential part of specifying hotel furniture.

The fabrics for upholstery come in different materials, designs, and colors. Fabric creates a first and lasting impression on people, so it must look perfect. When selecting materials to produce our products, the nature of the fabric pile, the Martindale rating, and the fire retardancy are all essential elements.

⑤   Stone

Many stone and stone-like materials are used for table tops—marble, granite, quartz, and terrazzo.

Stone is a very durable material, but this does not mean it will not stain and mark; some do very quickly. Generally, the more porous a stone is, the faster it degrades.

Quartz doesn’t etch or stun the way that marble does, which makes quartz countertops much more durable. Besides, unlike marble, quartz countertops are non-porous so that they won’t absorb moisture and liquids.

⑥   Hardware
