Woody sums up the essence of contemporary design and recalls tradition, with an ideal attention towards the future that brings knowledge. A barely stylised structure in solid wood, characterised by harmoniously linked lines, assembly without screws done entirely by fitting the pieces together, to form a project that expresses the value of artisan expertise. This is how Francesco Meda summarised the project philosophy: “My attention is focused on obtaining “aerial sections” to reduce to a minimum the material used, and not waste wood, which is a “precious” material.
